When we say that we repair and calibrate monitors and can get the work done fast, we mean it!
June is National Safety Month
No, not National Safety, Inc. month, though that would be nice J but rather National Safety Month as designated by the National Safety Council (nsc.org/nsm).
Each week of this month has a different emphasis:
Week 1 (6/1 – 6/6) – Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention
Week 2 (6/7 – 6/13) – Teen Driving Safety
Week 3 (6/14 – 6/20) – Preventing Overexertion at Work & at Home
Week 4 (6/21 – 6/27) – Dangers of Cell Phone Use While Driving
Week 5 (6/28 – 6/30) – Summer Safety
Go to http://www.nsc.org/nsc_events/Nat_Safe_Month/Pages/home.aspx and click on the links on the left side of the page by week. You’ll find free downloadable Posters and Tip Sheets for every week’s themes as well as statistics and information relating to the topic of the week.
While you’re there, have a look around at all the other resources available.
It’s a zoo down here!
This has nothing to do with safety (except maybe the danger of slipping on elephant poop!) but I had to post it.
On Wednesday of this week (Sept. 2nd, 2009), the Ringling Bros. circus came to town. As they often do, they paraded the elephants and the horses around town which took them right by our building. Here are the photos in front of our building.
