Electronic Cigarette

Once billed as a healthy alternative to regular cigarettes, the E-cig or Electronic Cigarette, has recently come under new scrutiny and come up short.

A new study which you can access here, has found that electronic cigarettes actually dispense metal and silicate particles that could cause harmful health effects in users and bystanders.

Part of the problem, according to the study is the fact that electronic cigarettes were widely released with little to no prior testing. Because they do not burn, they were thought to be safer but the aerosol that they release should have been studied properly before they were made available as a replacement to conventional cigarettes.

The metals and silicate that are released by ecigs are known to have a slew of adverse health effects.
