Workplace Safety for Auto Mechanics

I got an email last week from a reader whose husband had been badly injured as an auto mechanic. She recommended the following link by www.partsgeek.com

A Resource Guide to Workplace Safety for Auto Mechanics includes links, downloads, pfs, checklists and much more to help auto mechanics safely do their job. It includes help in the following hazard categories:

  • Floor Care
  • Wearing Gloves
  • Eye Protection
  • Electrocution
  • Chemical Poisoning
  • Proper Lifting
  • Training and Certification

If you are an auto mechanic or have a loved one who is, pass this information along to them. As much as I love hearing from my readers, my least favorite email from them is the ones similar to the one I got from this woman last week. I would rather get a “having seen safety tips I was able to avoid…” rather than get a “please pass this along to your readers to help them avoid what happened to…”

Thanks to parts Geek for going above and beyond the simple sales of automotive parts for doing the research and taking the time to provide its’ customers with this extremely valuable information.
